Interim Finance Business Partner

Day Rate: £400–£500 per day, depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Interim Finance Business Partner to support a large, established organisation based in Leicester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to join a busy finance function, working closely with stakeholders across the business to support financial performance, cost management and strategic decision-making.

The role will involve analysing expenditure, supporting budgets and forecasts, challenging financial performance and providing insight to help the business make informed commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight and commercial support.

• Monitor expenditure, investigate variances and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency.

• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.

• Produce financial analysis, management information and reporting for senior stakeholders.

• Develop financial models and business cases to support investment decisions.

• Review costs associated with business operations, systems and ongoing projects.

• Challenge assumptions and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.

• Support wider commercial initiatives and ad hoc projects.

• Build strong relationships with finance and non-finance stakeholders.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance, FP&A or Management Accounting role.

• Strong analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and cost management.

• The confidence to challenge stakeholders and influence commercial decisions.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present financial information clearly.

• A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Experience supporting technology-related expenditure, systems investment or complex operational costs would be advantageous.
